Volunteer!

The Athens Farmers Market and its vendors rely on the work of volunteers to assist in tent set up, assisting the vendors in moving product from car to tent, setting up displays, and breaking down the site at the end of the day.  We also need volunteers to count patrons entering the market, assist in merchandise sales, set up audio equipment and other tasks.

We probably need your help, even if you can volunteer for only a few markets! We accomodate any needs our volunteers have for accounting for community service.

For 2010, we have two market days and venues;
   --Saturdays 8-Noon, Bishop Park
            Setup begins at 7AM.
            Breakdown begins at Noon
   --Tuesdays 4PM - 7PM, Downtown Athens, Little Kings
            Setup begins at 3PM
            Breakdown begins at 7PM

If you are wish to volunteer give us your contact information and subscribe to our volunteer mail list below.  We need your cell phone number so that we can contact you in case of schedule changes or other unusual circumstances.
