The Children’s Booth

Come join the fun!

At the Athens Farmers Market, we see kids as an integral part of the Athens community.  AFM has become a “Saturday morning staple” for many families, as it serves as a welcoming space for both adult shoppers and their younger counterparts. Each Saturday, we have a free, fun, and family-friendly activity at the Children’s Booth. 

Our Kids Booth Coordinator, along with partnering organizations, hosts various activities from nature-fairy-making, veggie stamping, paper marbling, fortune-telling, candy fishing, plant dissections, and sun-catcher making. 

Our hope is that children and families look forward to coming to the market, assured that there’s a place for everyone to have fun. To be able to foster a love and investment in both our community and local food system is a great privilege, and we love being there for every Athens family on Saturday mornings. Come join us throughout this season to create, play, and laugh!
